My Weather Pixie
The Disco
On Thursday from 7pm-9pm it was TAI’s first disco of the year, the theme was fancy dress. Me and my friend Hannah dressed up as blue and white bunny rabbits, we had white tops with blue scarves tied around our waists, black shorts, white bunny tails, slippers,long white gloves, colourful bangles, blue and white bunny ears and we painted our faces with a black nose and whiskers. (We thought we should have won best dressed, but we didn’t). There were lots of really cool outfits like fairies, bunny rabbits, princesses, minnie mouse, buzzy bees and stuff like that. Some people didn’t dress up which was kind of disappointing but I still had loads of fun! One of the teachers was outside (there was a place to sit outside to eat, drink and cool off) selling chocolate, drinks (coca cola and sprite). I bought some Pebbles and shared them with my friends. There was lots of singing, dancing and jumping around in groups. There were prizes of lollies or mini chocolates for best dressed and best dancers. I didn’t win anything but I had fun anyway! It was an awesome night of fun and when I got home I was tired and had sore feet so I went to bed.

Hey!
I’m an ex student of room three. It sounds like it was an awesome night! I remeber that the discos were a lot of fun. But there always seemed to be that buzzing noise of music left in my ears for the night!

I remember those discos well. As Holly mentioned I always got this insanely irritating buzzing sound left in my ears afterwards. It was always cool to come and see which people were brave enough to show off there wild side by dressing up. It was always a lot of fun.
