Hi. The kittens that we are looking after are really growing up now. They all have names. The tabby is called Dora (Dory!) because she explores heaps, the black girl is called Chimp because she has big eyes and looks like a chimpanze! The boy (black) is called Leo. They all can walk and run now and sometimes just suddenly run and jump! They are now turning into energetic little kittes and always chase after fingers and toes. Shy (the mum) is now not as shy and is still a good mother. Shy is allowed to go outside now, but she only goes out a little way when she does go outside. Our other cat Moose who is a male got in to the garage (where we keep them) the other day and Shy got scared but he wasn’t in there and he just went straight back out. The kittens are 4 weeks old now and mum took them to the vets the other day for a check-up and the vet said they are doing well for their age, and Shy is also much better than when we first go her. The kittens are starting to use a litter box now. They are all really cute and I love looking after them and seeing them grow and it’s a very good oppertunity to see what it’s like being responible and looking after them.

On Thursday from 7pm-9pm it was TAI’s first disco of the year, the theme was fancy dress. Me and my friend Hannah dressed up as blue and white bunny rabbits, we had white tops with blue scarves tied around our waists, black shorts, white bunny tails, slippers, long white gloves, colourful bangles, blue and white bunny ears and we painted our faces with a black nose and whiskers. (We thought we should have won best dressed, but we didn’t). There were lots of really cool outfits like fairies, bunny rabbits, princesses, minnie mouse, buzzy bees and stuff like that. Some people didn’t dress up which was kind of disappointing but I still had loads of fun! One of the teachers was outside (there was a place to sit outside to eat, drink and cool off) selling chocolate, drinks (coca cola and sprite). I bought some Pebbles and shared them with my friends. There was lots of singing, dancing and jumping around in groups. There were prizes of lollies or mini chocolates for best dressed and best dancers. I didn’t win anything but I had fun anyway! It was an awesome night of fun and when I got home I was tired and had sore feet so I went to bed.
